Welcome!

Pack 231 is a thriving Cub Scout unit including families with elementary students in Chadds Ford, Hillendale, Pocopson and neighboring private schools. The Pack is chartered by the Longwood Rotary and run by parent volunteers. Cub Scouts is a family-focused program designed for boys and girls in K-5th.

We hold meetings and plan activities throughout the school year. We emphasize fun while promoting the purposes and values of Cub Scouting. Click here for more information about joining Pack 231.

Spook-o-Ree is Fast Approaching

Please remember to hand in Health Forms for both Scouts and Adults at the October Pack Meeting, or bring them with you to camp, along with a copy of your insurance card.

Safeguarding Youth, formerly Youth Protection Training (YPT), must be renewed for any adults attending camp activities. Certification is valid for one year. Date of completion must be after 10/17/2025.

If you can no longer attend, please let us know, as some scouts are on a waitlist for the event.

New Scouts:

Step 1: Register with the pack HERE! You will pay the National and Chester County Council membership fees when you register. If you were a scout with Pack 231 last year, see Returning Scouts section below.

Step 2: Complete the signup for the New Scouts slot to pay your Pack dues of $85. See the FAQ below to see what is covered under Pack dues.

Returning Scouts (if you renewed directly with Council):

Step 1: Renew your registration with the email sent to you from council. You will pay the National and Chester County Council membership fees when you register.

Step 2: Complete the signup for the Returning Scouts (renewed with council) slot below to pay your Pack dues of $85. See the FAQ below to see what is covered under Pack dues.

Returning Scouts (if you want the Pack to renew you with Council):

Complete the signup for a Returning Scout slot within. Both options include your Pack dues ($85) as well as the Pack membership renewal fees for National ($85) and Chester County Council ($70). Option 1 includes a year subscription for Scout Life ($15) while Option 2 does not include Scout Life. You do not need to renew on the Chester County Council website. Just checkout below and you're all set.

Scouts should be prepared to share stories about our pack activities such as the pinewood derby, summer camp, weekend camping, and the winter carnival / ice bowling.

Class A uniforms are encouraged for scouts
