Hike will be on an approximately 1 mile long paved trail. If you don't have an August Summertime Award event, this is the place to be on Sunday.
Sandy Hollow Heritage Park, 42 acres of preserved open space, much as it was in 1777, allows public access for passive recreation to a portion of the Brandywine Battlefield National Historic Landmark. Established in 2002, the park has a 1.1 mile asphalt path for pedestrians.
The park can be accessed from a parking area on South New Street, north of the intersection of South New Street and Birmingham Road.
Join us on December 13th at 6:45 pm at Pocopson for ice bowling and winter fun! Our Bears will host a winter carnival and we will have our annual tradition of Ice Bowling in the parking lot.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! At least a few days prior to 12/13 we need families to help create balls and pins. Take any empty 1-2 liter plastic soda bottle or 1-gallon milk jug, fill it with water, and pop it in the freezer. These take a while to freeze so never too soon to start.
